In The Office
[Insert pun about Welcome Mats here]
Posted on 20 May 2016 under In The Office
Matt has come to us from quite a different background to the usual helpdesk suspects — he spent eleven years producing high-quality caffeinated beverages for people just like the ones he now works with. After moving here in 2012 (from NZ, bro!) for the improved working conditions in hospitality, he has since built a family and decided that the unforgiving hours of cafe work were no longer a priority for him. With such an extensive history in customer service, his personal approach to support and attention to detail is outstanding. He loves helping and teaching people new things, and looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with all of our clients.
We've had Matt on the team for just over a week now, and he's absolutely nailing it. Along with main man Dan, we think we've got the best support in the business.
2015 in review

As the sun sets on another year we're taking the time to look back on the last 12 months.
Here are some thoughts from the team:
Since we pushed our first Jack Marlow website live in 2009 we've had the opportunity to develop some fantastic long-standing relationships with our clients. 2015 was a really great year for us going back to some of our older clients and making sure their websites are up to 2015 standards, are fully responsive and reflect their business in 2015.
Not only is the web a completely different animal these days but many of our clients have expanded their businesses, changed their focuses or restructured! We've got a few more redesigns and re-brands to launch in the new year which I'm itching to announce but for me the highlights of 2015 were working on and re-launching the Riverina Tourism websites, Lower Plenty Dental and Hemden all with stunning looking and fully responsive websites.

Being the newest member of the Jack Marlow team, 2015 was a thrilling ride for me. I got the opportunity to acquaint myself with long time clients like Rivkin, Lower Plenty Dental, Riverina Tourism and Ud...
Introducing Truss (and our brand new website!)
Posted on 04 Sep 2015 By Kieran Morrissey under Updates , In The Office & Truss RTO
Today is a big day in the history of Jack Marlow. Our brand new website is now live, and we're introducing three new products.
Our New Website
It seems a weird thing for a Digital Agency to have no website, but it's also surprising how many don't! We've collaborated with a couple of small firms over the last year and a half or so whose websites consist merely of a logo, an email address, and a phone number - but they still produce great work. The old adage that the plumber's house has the worst pipes probably applies here.
It was with that fact in mind as a consolation that I decided a little while back (after Google's Mobile Update) that we were better to have no website than to have our old non-responsive site still up. This year has been so busy with client work that it's taken a while for us to replace our old clunker with an up-to-the-minute responsive site but it's a great feeling to launch something for ourselves that's up to the standard of work our team produces for our clients these days.
We've also simplified and modernised our brand and brought it into line with our new products :)
I'd love to know your thoughts on our new site - drop us a line in the comments below.
Introducing Truss
Over the years we've evolved from a small general purpose digital agency into a firm who specialise in certain kinds of problems - Integrations, Management Systems, websites for Wholesale...Hello Abbotsford!

What a start to the year! We've had a supremely busy first quarter of 2015 - we've moved into a new office and now need to grow our team to keep up with the flow of work.
If you'd ever tried to get a park near our William Street office, you'll be relieved how much easier it is now; our new digs in Abbotsford are up and running. This new space will give us room for the next stage of our growth and the central but not-too-central location makes it easier for us to get out and see clients - and for clients to come visit us.
A big thankyou to our clients both long-standing and new for your support; we look forward to continuing to grow with you, and would love you to pop in for a coffee and a chat if you're ever near Yarra St!
We're literally bursting at the seams with new work, so the first new hire for the year is a junior technical support / customer service team member to work with us full time and help us stay on top of everything. Are you a well-organised customer service superstar looking to get into web? Do you know someone? Please get in touch here: http://www.seek.com.au/Job/28386186
We've got some exciting announcements coming up in April - some projects we've been working on for the last few months are finally coming to fruition and we can't wait to show you!
